Tthe Illinois Cycling Association & xXx Racing have teamed up to bring you Practice Races run every other WEDNESDAY starting June 19th.

This spring the ICA helped fund two road racing clinics.  The first was Half Acre Cycling’s women, junior girls  and transgendered women road clinic.

The Northbrook Cycle Committee has released their calendar for the 2013 season of Monday night training and Thursday night racing as well as their special event nights. You can view the calendar on their website.

And to get women ready for all that racing, Francine Haas (PACT), Marie Snyder (Chicago Cuttin' Crew) and Arlette Volrath (Chicago Velo Campus) are all teaming up for Francine's annual women's track clinic.

Next time you see Loch or Brenda at a race, go up to them and give them a pat on the back, because they deserve it. Loch received recognition as the Midwest Region's Official of the Year, and Brenda received the same accolades at the state level. We concentrate often on the racers, but they can't race safely and fairly without great officials!

Now that ALL of last years winners and runners up have finally received their Illinois Cup Cups, it's time to announce THIS year's Illinios Cup Series! From the Desk of Nikki Cyp.

Steve Feehery, of the South Chicago Wheelmen, has some news to report (sad news in my opinion). The ICA has just been informed that the SCW’s long standing Tuesday Night practice races have ended at Ace Paints in Matteson, IL.
