2013 Illinois State Championship Announcement
The Illinois Cycling Association would like to announce the 2013 State Championship
events. An ICA Committee made the selections in part on applications received, event
management experience, quality of the courses, community support & involvement,
and timing of the events. The ICA would like to congratulate each of the events
hosting our State Championships and wish each of our riders, good luck in 2013.

The 2013 Illinois State Championship Races
• Junior Track: SAT/SUN 6/22-23 - xXx Racing / Northbrook Velodrome & CVC
• Masters Track: SAT 7/13 - NCC / Northbrook Velodrome (no jerseys awarded)
• Criterium: SUN 7/21 - Sammy's/Dreyer St. Charles Criterium, a Prairie State Cycling Series Event
• Elite Track*1: NCC / Northbrook Velodrome
• Masters Track: SAT 7/13 - NCC / Northbrook Velodrome (no jerseys awarded)
• Criterium: SUN 7/21 - Sammy's/Dreyer St. Charles Criterium, a Prairie State Cycling Series Event

- Keirin: THURS 8/8
- Scratch: Men-THURS 8/15; Women-THURS 8/29

The State Mountain Bike Championship is NOT a one day event, it is a series comprised of 11 total races with competitors using their 6 best finishes in order to determine the State Championship winners which are not finalized until the Farmdale Festival in September. The eleven races in the series are: 4/14: Sylvan Island Stampede (FORC); 5/5: Matthiessen Mountain Madness (IVCA); 5/19: Black Partridge Classic (PAMBA); 6/23:
Jubilee Challenge (PAMBA); 7/7: Spring Lake Classic (MACMTBC); 7/14: Sunderbruch (FORC); 7/21: Palos Meltdown (CAMBr); 8/11: WildLife Wild MTB race (PAMBA); 8/24-25: Kickapoo Fat Tire Festival (KMBC); 9/8: Mud Sweat & Gears (CORBA); 9/21-22: Farmdale Mud Fest (final awards) (PAMBA)
