Not in IL but a New Iowa Road Race Weekend

The American Equity Racing Team is proud to be hosting the first annual Quad Cities Road Race on Saturday, July 14th. We have been preparing for this event for several months and anticipating a great racing experience for all those involved.  Our team is composed of racers of all skill levels who live in Iowa and Illinois.  Members of the team are working diligently to put on a top-notch race.

The Quad Cities Road Race will feature cash pay-outs, awards, and a podium/trophy ceremony for winners of the elite races.  A unique feature of this event is the “Scott County Shoot-Out”.  This is a classification that will challenge racers to work with their teammates to win a bonus pay-out.  Points will be awarded to the top 10 finishers, and the two teams with the most points will win.  So, gather up your team and prepare to do battle against some of the strongest teams from Iowa and Illinois (and beyond?).

The course is located north east of Bettendorf, Iowa, just several miles from the Illinois border.  The race route includes a 9 miles circuit with 6 corners and a couple of short, but punchy climbs that will make for a challenging and scenic event.
