Tuesday Night Racing Ends at the Matteson Ace Paint Factory

Steve Feehery, of the South Chicago Wheelmen, has some news to report (sad news in my opinion). The ICA has just been informed that the SCW’s long standing Tuesday Night practice races have ended at Ace Paints in Matteson, IL. Ace Paint was bought out by another company who didn’t want the races to continue there. Thankfully, they are looking to secure a new spot in the very near future. The SCW will also host a few races at the Autobahn in Joliet over the season.

Their Tuesday night series has been going on for the better part of 25 years. Most of those years it’s been held at the Ace Paint Factory. We hope those races are quickly reinstated on the ICA calendar.
