Renew Club Licenses for 2010 Now!

All USA Cycling clubs can renew online by following these simple steps:

1) Go to http://www.usacycling.org/myusac

2) Establish an account at no cost if you do not currently have one for your club.

3) Login with name and password

4) Click on Manage USA Cycling Clubs

Please contact your Membership Services Coordinator if this link does not appear or if the club’s contact is not a person, such as “Chamber of Commerce”, “Rotary Club”, etc.

Proposed USCF Legislation - Racing Rule Changes

For 2010 the United States Cycling Federation is proposing some major shifts in the rules that govern Masters and Juniors racing.  Gearing restrictions, aerodynamic equipment and other items are on the table.  It is important for Illinois' representatives to the USCF accurately reflect the opinions of racers in Illinois.  For this reason we ask that you please review the attachment and send any opinions, concerns, suggestions or other feedback to legislation AT illinoiscycling DOT org

Enhancing the ICA Website

After almost one full season of use we're happy to say that the ICA website has yet to implode, cause a rip in the time-space continuum, or wreak any other havoc on the fair citizens of the interwebs.  Our results database has been a great success as has the calendar and teams database.  Suffice it to say, we're very happy with the new site.  That said, as the road season ends the coding season begins and we're ready to take a crack at making the ICA website even better.

2009 Illinois Cup Final Results

After nearly 7 months of competition from road races, to crits, freezing temperatures to sweltering heat, the season-long competition to determine Illinois' most successful racers and team has come to a close.  The Illinois Cycling Association put forth a schedule that challenged riders with varying courses forcing many to further their cycling prowess in an effort to earn valuable cup points.  The ICA extends a heartfelt thank you to all of the promoters, officials, ICA staff, volunteers and of course the riders who participated in the race series and made it a great success.  We look forw
