Illinois Cycling Clubs and Teams
These clubs and teams have demonstrated their commitment to cycling in Illinois by becoming members of the ICA. Their membership ensures that their riders are able to take advantage of all the benefits and resources the ICA has to offer including eligibility in the Illinois Cup and State Championships.
To become a member club or team you must first register on this site and then you can fill out our membership form. If there are no clubs in your area and you'd like help starting a competitive cycling club, contact us and we'll be glad to help.
Appealing to riders of all abilities and disciplines, Alberto's is heavily involved with track racing and the development of women riders. Alberto's is the team that hosts the Glencoe Grand Prix every summer in Glencoe, IL.
Beverly Bike/Veepak is based out of the South Side of Chicago, just a stone's throw away from Beverly. Hosting a stage of the Chicago Time Trial Series and supportive of many other events BBVP is open to riders of all abilities.

The Chicago Cuttin’ Crew is a team of exceptional riders built from the messenger community and urban street racing circuit. Team EMC2 was founded in 2009 in the Western suburbs of Chicago by several Masters cyclists. Team EMC2 will race time trials, crits and road races. We pursue our racing goals and team growth without sacrificing the enduring, unique chemistry that brought us together and keeps us riding together.
Half Acre Cycling is a super friendly group of cyclist who love competitive racing. Sponsored by a beer company and Johnny Sprockets bike shop, Half Acre hosts the Gapers Block Crit Series- a multi-day event geared at helping beginning racers gain upgrade points as well as other events in cyclocross, mountain and track racing.
A group of cyclists in the St. Louis metro east area and host of the O'Fallon Grand Prix. Metro East Cycling enjoys the thrill of riding on the open road, the camaraderie and support of like minded riders, increasing strength and fitness and improving our cycling skills.

One of the oldest cycling clubs in the nation, the Peoria Bicycle Club was formed in 1881. Proud sponsor of the Illinois State Criterium Championship, the club focuses on the competitive side of cycling.
The Project 5 moniker stands for the plan most of us have of graduating up from the Cat 5 racing scene. The other meaning behind this name is simply promotion of racing in general for those young and old that are looking to participate in this awe inspiring sport. Our hope is to be a sort of ambassador of this sport and the healthy lifestyle it represents.
RDS is mainly a promoter of races. Three races are now hosted by RDS: the Vernon Hills Grand Prix, the Wonder Lake Lakeside Criterium, and the Fox River Grove Cycling Challenge.

Team Mack is based in Springfield, IL but has riders of all ability levels and disciples throughout Illinois. One of the older clubs in the state with many strong Masters riders, Team Mack hosts the annual Bill Jensen Memorial Tour de Groundhog Cyclocross race.
Tower Racing is a group of riders drawn together by camaraderie, a passion for cycling, and a desire to be a premier Masters cycling team. Inspired by the famous water tower in Western Springs, Illinois, Tower Racing also hosts the state road race championship.
Turin is a social group who support each other at a variety of levels. Membership is open to anyone who enjoys cycling. Dedicated to all disciplines in the sport, Turin hosts track races, a criterium, and the state cyclocross championship.
Tuxedo Thunder Cycling is a group of cyclists competing in Road, CX, Track, and MTB. We turn every race into a black tie event and take no mercy on our under-dressed competitors. These tuxedos aren’t rentals so keep a corsage handy, a high-five at the ready and watch your back for a derelict limo full of bow ties and bike grease.
UCVC is a cycling club composed of undergrads, graduate students, alums, professors, and staff of the U of C community. The club is made up of both recreational and competitive riders. The majority of club activities involve road, track, and cyclocross; but the occasional mtb ride is seen.
Led by former U.S. Postal professional racer, Robbie Ventura, Vision Quest Coaching brings the latest technology and training methodologies to every member regardless of their goals or skill level. VQ has several facility-based training centers in service, and a full staff of world-class coaches.
