Colorado Meeting:
- New members are not growing
- Retention of members is up
- Licensing, 15% female, 85% male
- Track racer days up 247%
- Road racer days down 6%
- CX racer days up 16%
- New USAC site up, not all systems onto new site, some still on Legacy site, work in progress
- New membership levels, new USAC membership for non-racers
- Race clean, testing will continue and grow to more races
- Clean Sport Initiative growing
- Low on Officials, most Officials over age of 60, push to gain new Officials
- USAC looking into providing more flexibility to local upgrade coordinators to help with process
- 11% increase in USAC membership for IL in past year
ICA Website
- Working on getting website backed up and upgraded
State Championship Jerseys
- Shipped 10/08 and will arrive to Brenda soon
- 230 jerseys ordered, will have roughly 3 years’ worth of jerseys
Officials
- Needed
- Can do online and in person clinics
- One official per club can be reimbursed for price of license
- 10 races worked will also reimburse license cost
- 20 or more races will also reimburse license cost and $100 worth of merchandise
Equipment Downstate
- Put together race kit for Southern IL?
- Could ship items back and forth, but not ideal
- Working on purchasing 2 new laptops
- $500-$600 for full kit; lap counter, laptop, printer, table and chair
- Biggest priority from downstate members; lap counter, access to software
- Send older laptop from up north downstate and new laptop to north as we have larger volume of races/racers
- Order lap counter for Southern IL, Passed Vote, Brenda will order
